Used Baby Stuff Good for Babies

used baby stuff
Every parent in the world wants the best for their precious baby. One of the most exciting thing to do while waiting for the arrival of our baby is to shop, shop and shop and then buy, buy and buy all those adorable and interesting whimsy fancy baby stuff. Purchasing all the essential baby stuff especially the bigger items like baby cot, baby car seat, baby stroller and even a good dual electric breast pump to express your breast milk can get rather expensive. Before we realised it, we've already spent quite a hefty sum even before we get to see our baby. Fear not, the good news is you can actually still afford those lovely baby stuff for your dear little one but at a greatly reduced price. The solution? Simply get those great used baby stuff available in the market or from used baby stuff websites. Rest assured that most used baby stuff on sale are still in very good condition simply because they have hardly been used much at all.

I don't regard myself as an environmentalist but in my daily life, I try to do my bit for the environment by consciously saving water and recycling materials whenever possible. Similarly, I apply this philosophy when I'm intending to buy any baby stuff. Some people might not have a good opinion of used baby stuff which I find rather sad. There is really no shame in using used baby stuff. Recycling used baby stuff can in fact be counted as a very good effort in promoting minimal wastage. Used baby stuff doesn't necessarily means they are not usable, they are just not as good as new. Don't you think it is such a waste when gently used baby clothes, gears, toys, accessories are chucked aside as they become unsuitable for the baby? I think it is a splendid idea to be kind to our environment and our pockets at the same time.

Where can we find used baby stuff? Of course, the easiest and most convenient way is to tap on our nearest resources. Ask from our good friends, colleagues and relatives for hand-me-downs ( used baby clothes/ caps/socks and mittens/swaddling cloth/moses basket/cot/toys/books/baby carrier/baby gym/baby bouncer etc ). As babies grow and mature day by day, their interests change rapidly, leaving parents with loads of unused baby stuff like toys and baby equipment. Most people don't mind sharing their baby stuff with you when their baby doesn't need those items anymore as there are simply too many baby stuff crammed in their house. Most of the time, those people will welcome the idea of depositing those can't bear to throw good condition baby stuff at your place for the time being or for good. Then they can have additional space to store all the other baby stuff which are more appropriate for the next developmental stage of their baby.

From my experience, dressing our babies in used baby clothes is beneficial for them as used baby clothes are usually extra comfortable and soft when compared to new baby clothes. I feel that when it comes to baby care, whichever baby stuff you are getting must be able to provide the baby with maximum comfort. Therefore, used baby clothes fit the category perfectly. My baby is fortunate enough to be wearing used baby clothes from one of my dear friends so he is always comfortably dressed and smiling all the time.

Besides used baby clothes, I'm so lucky that my friends and relatives are willing to give my baby their used baby cot, infant car seat, baby carrier, baby bouncer, baby books and toys. Thanks a million to those kind hearted souls who are so generous in sharing. These translate into quite a amount of savings which I'm glad I can use to spend on good nutritional food and educational resources for my baby.

There are times when you feel like buying a specific baby stuff which you think can be helpful to your baby's development. When my baby is learning how to walk, I thought it will be a good idea to get him a push car which can assist him in walking and steadying his foot steps. I'm pondering if I should make the purchase but something is holding me back. I'm afraid of that scenario happening if I really buy the push car which costs over a hundred bucks. My baby will only make use of it for at most a couple of months and soon enough he will be walking and even running, casting the push car aside. One evening when I was online, I've chanced upon a mother at a forum who is letting go of her son's push car at a very good price. Voila! My baby is happily playing and pushing the used push car and learning to balance his foot steps a few days later.

If you will like to free up some cash to do or buy things that you deemed to be of high importance to you and your baby, go ahead and find or buy used baby stuff. When I was planning an overseas trip with my baby, I have to either be carrying my tenth month old 12kg baby wherever I go ( my back will break!) or to buy an extra light weight stroller for that few days use only. It is definitely not penny wise to spend money on an expensive new stroller. Hence, I went to those online used baby stuff websites and managed to get a used branded light weight stroller of decent condition at a pretty low price. I must say there is a lot choice out there, you can shop for used baby stuff online or you can choose to trade in those unused baby stuff and receive some cash in return.

Most importantly, please do not let those baby stuff which you've bought on impulse and really isn't useful to your baby anymore to be lying in a corner of your store room covered with dust. Hesitate no more, please make full use of those used baby stuff now!
